Can the new SDXC media card be supported by Atech Flash media card readers?
A: Yes, AFT's latest readers can support the SDXC media card format. To achieve the full speed of the SDXC Cards, it is best to use the USB 3.0 versions of AFT readers.

SDXC Error Message: "You need to format the disk in drive 'X': before you can use it. Do you want to format it?" or "The disk in drive 'X' is not formatted. Do you want to format it now?"
A: No, Choose No/Cancel! Do not format, otherwise card is no longer SDXC format! See below for solutions from SD Assocation:

(1) The exFAT file system used for SDXC is available on Microsoft Windows 7, Windows Vista and Windows XP (SP1 or later) with exFAT file system update (KB955704) available from the Microsoft Download Center.
(2) You can access the SDXC card by using an SDXC compatible USB reader or adapter.
(3) If you want to use an SDXC card in the SD slot on your computer, you need an SDXC compatible driver for the SD slot.
(4) Contact your computer manufacturer to confirm the SD slot on your computer is compatible with SDXC cards and for availability of the SDXC driver.
(5) An SDXC-compatible driver for the SD slot can be downloaded from the following Microsoft sites. However, please check with your computer manufacturer to determine if the following download is applicable to your computer before applying the download.

Can I reformat my Media Card with my Card Reader?
A: Yes, you can reformat your media card with card reader with your system. For best results, it is suggested you reformat your media card with the Digital Camera you are currently using.
Q:
My PRO-28U reader works with the most current firmeware, but after my VISTA Ultimate goes to sleep mode, I notice the next day the reader is no longer visible. I unplug the reader and plug it back in and everything is normal. The problem is that the unit is installed inside a computer case so this requires opening up the case. Is there a work around to solve the sleep mode?
A: To solve the problem please do the following:
(1) Turn on the “USB Legacy” Mode on your motherboard’s Bios
(2) Disable sleep mode from the Power Schemes under the Power Options.

After installing Windows 7, my Removable Media Drive icons are no longer visible?
A: One of the new features of Windows 7 is
that any Removeable Media device will no longer show up until
a Media Card is inserted into the card slot of the Atech Flash

Error message "One of the USB device attached to this computer has malfunctioned, and Windows does not recognize it"?
A:
1. Make sure you update to latest BIOS.
2. Reinstall USB controllers
First, please disconnect all USB devices and then perform the following steps:
a) Click "Start" button, type “devmgmt.msc” (without quotation marks) in the “Search” bar and press "Enter". Click “Continue” if necessary.
b) In Device Manager, double click to expand "Universal Serial Bus controllers", right click on the Host Controller, click "Uninstall" and click "OK".
c) Repeat the step 2 to uninstall all items under "Universal Serial Bus controllers".
Then, restart your computer and Windows 7 will reinstall all USB controllers automatically.
3. If the above steps cannot resolve the problem, try the steps below: (for laptap users)
a) Turned the laptop off, unplugged it.
b) Pulled out the battery for a few minutes.
c) Then power on the laptop.

Error message "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)"
A:

I am having issues with the USB Media Readers with ASUS P8P67 Deluxe Motherboards"
SYMPTOMS:
1. The card reader shows up in Device Manager as working properly.
2. The various drives show up in Disk Management, and detects when a card is inserted, but it reads 0 bytes.
3. When a card is inserted, "Computer" detects that a card has been inserted by highlighting the drive, but when I click on the drive to read the card, it gives me a "Please insert a card into Removable Disk X" popup.
4. I can get the reader to work if I insert the card, then disconnect and reconnect the reader cables, or by restarting the computer with the card in the reader, but once I remove the card and reinsert, I get the popup again.

SUGGESTED SOLUTIONS:
Disabling non-Microsoft services.
Current utility Marvell Storage Utility V4 (v4.1.0.1909), which is a current download for the P8P67 Deluxe motherboard on Asus’ web site and was released last December of 2010. Disabling the service or uninstalling the utility allows the use of USB Media Card Readers without the symptoms listed above.
**Warning Disabling services that normally run at startup might cause some programs to malfunction or result in system instability. Don't disable services in this list unless you know they're not essential to your computer’s operation. Selecting Disable all won't disable some secure Microsoft services required for the operating system to start.**

SUGGESTED SOLUTIONS:
1. If you have Acronis True Image Home 2012 or Acronis Backup & Recovery 11 installed on your computer, please go to the following link to download an update for your Acronis software or get the latest build.

As a workaround, reboot the computer after inserting memory card. If memory card is present in card reader during system boot, it will be detected in My Computer correctly.
(!) The issue reproduces only if memory card is not present in card reader during system boot.
2. If the update above does not fix the issue, we would suggest the following:

Can the iDuo reader upload images directly to the iPhone or iPod?
